Flight log

One click, tracked end to end.

Your pass crosses five gates. Each one stamps it, and one of them catches the thing that would otherwise have burned a morning of budget.

After launch · overnight

The tower never closes.

Monitored links are re-checked weekly, daily or hourly by plan. This is the night you would have slept through.

  • Sweep finished in 41 seconds. No destination had changed status since the 15:47 pass.

  • The campaign owner and the team channel were alerted nine seconds after the failed check. That was six hours before the morning budget released.

  • Three consecutive healthy checks before the incident was closed, so a flapping destination cannot quietly resolve itself.

  • The middle hop was rewriting the query string. The link was repointed at the final URL and the parameters survived the next check.

  • Hourly cadence on this plan. The next sweep is already scheduled, so nobody has to remember to run it.

What is ClickTrail?

ClickTrail is a campaign link intelligence and reliability platform. It creates branded short links and QR codes, checks that the destinations behind them actually work, governs the UTM parameters attached to them, and measures the clicks, conversions and revenue that follow.

How is ClickTrail different from a normal URL shortener?

A shortener gives you a shorter string and a click count. ClickTrail also audits the destination before you ship the link, monitors it after launch, alerts you when it breaks or changes, validates the tracking parameters that attribution depends on, and ties conversions and revenue back to the campaign. The short link is the smallest part of the job.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. You can connect custom domains and serve your short links from a domain your audience recognises. Custom domains are available on every plan including Free, which gives you one; paid plans raise the limit.

Can ClickTrail monitor broken links?

Yes. ClickTrail runs scheduled reliability checks against monitored destinations and reports failures such as unreachable pages, SSL problems, slow responses, excessive redirects, stripped tracking parameters and destinations that changed after launch. Monitoring limits and scan frequency vary by plan.

Does ClickTrail support QR codes?

Yes. Every link can generate a QR code, and you can download it as a high-resolution PNG suitable for print, packaging and out-of-home. You can generate one from the free tool on this page without an account.

Can I track conversions?

Yes. Conversions are posted server-side to the Conversion API with a value, a currency and an external id for deduplication, then attributed back to the link and campaign that drove them. That is how revenue attribution and funnel reporting are built.

Can agencies manage multiple clients?

Yes. Each client gets its own workspace with isolated data, its own branded domains, and its own team roles. Reports can be shared with a client without giving them a seat in your workspace.

Can I import existing links?

The REST API can create links in batches, which is the route to take if you are migrating a catalogue from another tool. There is no CSV upload or one-click importer today.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan includes short links, a custom domain, basic click analytics and reliability scans, with no card required. You can also use the link readiness check on this page with no account at all.

How is my data protected?

Sign-in uses OIDC with httpOnly session cookies, all traffic is encrypted in transit, every query is scoped to the owning workspace, roles are enforced server-side, and sensitive actions are written to an append-only audit log. Destination scanning runs through an SSRF-safe client that refuses internal addresses. We do not currently hold SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification and do not claim to.
